ghost recon is not installed? reg help needed
 

ok i have ghost recon and its addons but for some reason when i install ghost and then try to installl the add ons it says ghost recon is not installed i asked for help but thay just told me to keep reinstalling it i dont want to sit all day and keep trying till it takes that blows. so can i use a reg editer to make a key that will tell the dame comp that its installed if so how i have no idea how to do it

Have you tried using all originals for installing ? Don't install a crack after you install Ghost Recon, you have to install all expansions and then install a crack for the latest (which should be cuban one if I remember correctly). So install from the original ghost recon cd and then try to install the expansion packs.

thanks but it says ghost recon is not installed i dont get it i have all the store bought cds the tech person at ubi said i have a bad ghost recon cd i dont want to have to get a new one so i guess i need to make a red key of it so the comps see's it as installed

If u have 'a bad ghost recon cd' then UBI would have told you how to go about obtaining a new cd. They are one of the good eggs in a world of bad eggs.

My backup of GR, with the crack in place of the original exe, installs properly AND Island Thunder installs over that. No problems whatsoever.
