some games don't work with my chip
 

i need help ?
i have some problem with any game who don't work with my ps2 chip.
i have a problem with for exemple Tony hawks 4, nfs hot pursuit 2, tekken4 ...
i have a ps2 of January 2002 with a chip of february.

do you know the name of the chip?
what booting methods are you using?
what software/media are you using for the backups?

i don't know the name of the chip. to burn the cd a use cdrwin to make the iso and fireburner to burn, on good cd only phillips or verbatim.
to boot i can only use one method , i have an action replay, i start the machine with the spécial cd, i do "start game", and "without code", i eject the cd i took the unofficial cd and when the door is close i put on "x".

I can't use the method when you stay put on the start button because the door doesn't eject with this type of ps2.

Contact whoever you bought the chip from and find out EXACTLY what it is....This will help a great deal....

Judging by the games you listed and the programs you use, I'll assume you are talking about DVD-Rips....... ALOT of chips don't like rips, so this may be your problem also......

or if you cant contact them for some reason maybe u know how many wires, or the site and price

Sounds like you got a neo2.2 installed on a v5 or higher console, if thats the case then it wont boot dvd-r at all and alot of titles must be patched to load. Did you buy the console pre-modded??
