Trouble booting swing away golf backup

Trying to boot this using gameshark v2 and no-mod swap trick. Tried patch and no patch with no success. Disc keeps spinning without any screen coming on (ie stay on screen which says press x to start game).

Anyone have success with this one? Burned on cdr!

if u mean the knife trick. than you really shouldnt do that. unless u want a trayless ps2. Just Buy a modchip. I would reccomend a messiah 2

When you end up breaking you PS2 drive by using the "knife trick"...

PSXPS2newbie 01-12-2002 15:32

and how am i going to break the drive?? I don't use a "knife" use a "swap tool" got from file folder material. Am i going to break i by pulling to hard or by repeating it time and time again?

PS everyone a funny aren't they?

You will eventually tear up the gears that drive the tray....
I would get a mod chip, just to be safe... There are quite a few people that use the method you are using and unfortunately end up with a PS2 that is useless..:(

PS.. I'm not trying to be funny... I just want to warn you of the dangers involved...

Swing away golf does work if its patched. You have to load up youre gameshark and press eject and eject to close it again so it will read the toc again than do the swap thing. You will see it start up now
