Battlefield 1942 Crack 1.2 doesnīt load MODS :(

have you tried a MOD ?
download http://www.bf1942files.com/file.info?ID=8318 and
install the MOD.
In main menu click on multiplayer and load the MOD.

ERROR ! -> "Please insert Battlefield CD"

i own the original CD but when playing with CD slows
the game down.

the cd-check is located in Mod.dll but this file is crypted.
any idea what a crypter was used ?
i tried some file scanners but they donīt show the protection.
i need the uncrypted Mod.dll so i can nuke the CD-Checks !

It seems to be the new way of organizing safedisc 2, probably 2.80.x.

@ bOOls

have you tried to load the Mod.dll in Win32Dasm ?
Some of the buttom code is missing so they must have used a DLL cryptor.

ColeP 01-12-2002 18:05

what is Win32Dasm?

Battlefield's original protection was not v2.80. Are you saying that the v1.2 update uses the latest version of Safedisc?

HughBackov 01-12-2002 21:06

Safedisc is the encryption.

Safedisc IS the encryption. And the key to decrypt it is on the CD.

cdkiller 01-12-2002 22:57

i know that safedisc is the encryption.
but the cracked Mod.dll is also encrypted !

i need the unwrapped (safedisc free) Mod.dll (but not encrypted) to disable the cd-checks !

good luck with this, cdkiller or anyone else..we need a working no-cd for mods also!

in one of the battlefield forums, they discuss abt this mod.dll :
http://bf1942forums.gameservers.nl/s...5&pagenumber=1

anyway, i found an ugly way to make work mods though. heres the trick:
if you have downloaded a mod like ExternalSoldierView then you have a folder called "ExternalSoldierView" that contains all your mod, just copy it under mods/bf1942/
check inside your mod folder if you have an init.con and delete it
then under mods/bf1942/archives
add a line in the init.con to point for that mod. ie:
game.addModPath Mods/bf1942/ExternalSoldierView/

then just run the game as usual, single player works... dont try custom game menu its no use.
i hope you'll manage to remove the cdcheks!!!

the fairlight crack ****s up when loading mods :(
anyone found a better nocd crack ?

cattlekiller 02-12-2002 08:58

the nocd works with mods, u just have to start with the mod not the game.

make copy of your bf1942 shortcut

on the shortcut go to properties, target and put in this.

"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +game themod +restart 1

replace "themod" with the mods name.

u cant change mods or go back to the reg. game, ingame.
just exit and make a shortcut for all of your mods.

it may be a little too much, but it works.

until another nocd comes out.

thanks for your help.
works for my mods.

hope their will be a mod fix out soon...
