Tray won't come out
 

Greetings.

My cd tray wont come out when i push the eject button. Sometimes when it does come out, it wont fully close, i need to push it a little so it will be closed shut. How can i repair this?

my guess is the ps2 has been dropped or knocked heavily
if this is case draw ismisaligned or of its cog
ive had few these but normally draw wont open at all

take top cover off,then theres a cover over the cd drive remove this try opening shutting then hopefully from there u b able to see and sort the problem

when u lift ps2 top cover off b very careful of the foil reset and power cable

i had that same problem with my old ps2 DONT open it up or else it will break. trust me it happened
