Gothic2-- has it been cracked?
 

Hi all

I just got Gothic2 and i´m wondering if it has already been cracked and if theres a no cd patch out there. I heard about Gothic2 having a new type of copy-protection, has it already been overrided?

it has the newest securom version and (maybe) tages to check the original cd very often during ingame.

Well, then thats a good reason for a no-cd patch. I don´t want the game to be slowed downjust because of some cd checks. A crack would be really useful, unfortunatly I can´t make them. That means that i´ll have to wait. If anyone knows how to crack it or has a no-cd patch, then please send it to frittenbudeabc**********com !

The protection has already been cracked. I think it took them 2-3 days, i've read on the net about it. But don't know where to get the NoCD.

Oh yes!!! if anyone knows where to get it, can he please tell me where? Or mail it to me?

I´m playing it for the moment with the CD in the tray, but It´s something I really hate to do. I´m longing for the no-cd patch, hopefully it´s out fast!

welll dudes ..... curious but I think theres something about this newest securom version that the warezgroups out there cant grasp, I mean, normally you'd see a game appear on the net 2 or 3 weeks before actual release.

Now it appears you have it and none of the groups have released it yet, so they must have trouble with the protection on it !

BTW a game cannot have two protections, and certainly not two who rely on the same mechanism, namely sector density variations (securom) and double sector regions (tages)

Hmmm, at the site where i read that they cracked the protection, the news about it has been removed. Appereantly their imagination was doing the typing.

Don´t forget, there´s only the german gothic2 version out there. that could be the reason why the game hasn´t been cracked and released by any group.
