dvd region x boot methods?
 

hi all ive got a ao4 coming on friday but ive just been told that i cant boot ps2 dvd backup game using my dvd region x disc ...does anyone know where i can get a boot disc that'll do the job for me someoe said that there is a disc called swapmagic???? i used to have a ar2 v2 disk but lost it would that do the job?

ps i have a v4 ps2 with neo 2.2 if that makes any difference??

Get yourself another AR2 V2 or GS V2....
Then follow this boot procedure that Nightstalker so graciously informed me of.....:D

How to boot DVD-R (only) with AR2/GS2 V2x

• Insert AR2/GS2
• Power down console, wait 5 sec, and restart console by pressing and holding reset. (Dont let go)
• After GS2 completely loads, swap with original dvd game.(high TOC)
• Wait about 15 sec and select Gameshark codes (or ar2 codes) and turn on or off any code on any game.
• Press start, select with codes and press x to load game.
• You will see a black screen saying "updating codes please wait" at this time release the reset button, tray will eject, swap with backup, tray closes and game loads.
