Ps2 wont work hmm....
 

:( When I put in a ps2 game it work work, but when i put a ps game in it works......Because it is not reading dvd format games.....when i go into sytem configurations and i stroll through all the things it is not recognizing the dvd player thing.....I emailed ps2 but they said u need a receipt and i lost mine any of you know how to fix it?

are you talking about original dvd's or about dvd-r's?
if you are talking about dvd backups you may need another modchip that allow you to read dvd-r

Sounds like you laser is on the way out.....
Usually the reading of dvd's is the first thing to go because dvd's are harder to read than a cd....
What version is you PS2?
