RalliSport lockup
 

I'm seeing lockup when RalliSport gets to the main menu. No mouse, no keyboard activity, just a hard stop. Task Manager shows the CPU pegged by the RalliSport .exe...this is with No-CD installed. Anyone else seen and overcome this?

FYI, 2-GeForce 2 and 1-GeForce 4 card for the video. Latest Det. drivers on both.

Uninstall, reinstall from the ORIGINALS, update to the latest version then try if the game works WITHOUT any crack applied. If it does, we know it's the nocd.

Everything is fine with the boxed originals -- looks like the No-CD has a few issues. So let's ask the opposite -- has anyone here actually seen the No-CD for RalliSport work?

Yes, it works fine. Dont use those Det. 40 drivers.

Can you tell me a) what drivers you're using and b) what OS? We've got the latest Dets (whatever number that is) and XP SP1.

I've tested the crack on both Win98se and WinXp. I was having big problems using the Detenator 40 drivers(40.72 are the latest certified drivers) on Win98 and some minor issues on WinXp. All has been good since reverting back to 30.82, no lockups playing Rallisport. Also make sure you switch off the sound hardware accelaration ingame, this helped a little too with fps and stability.
