Cant reinstall medal of honor
 

I istalled the patch for a copied version of medal of honor and when i went to start a new game it crashed back to desktop saying that mohaa.exe encountered a problem etc. I tried to ininstalll it but it wouldnt remove them so i deleted them. now when i got to install it shoes the uninstall thing with remove, modify, or repair. Help!

Does this funny stuff happen when you install from the original cds??

yep ever since i cracked te thing after patching it did the crashing to desktop. original cds dont help

I have this problem with MOHAA cracked or not - it's a real pain. If you're competent editing the registry then goto Start > Run then type regedit

Locate and delete this key

hkey_local_machines\software\microsoft\windows\cur rent version\uninstall\(odea94ed-915a-4834-a87e-38 8d012c8e02

You should now be able to install the game again.

thanx. I had a suspicion it was the registy but didnt know which bit.

You may also need to delete the uninstall folder that installshield creates. This is a hidden folder so you need to have "show hidden files" enabled.

C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8E02}

Just delete the whole folder
