SVCD, wtf ?
 

Ok, here is the story. I ripped some videoclips from a dvd using smartripper, dvd2avi and tmpgenc and the single video clips all work fine in svcd format (2520, 224).

I tried to make a svcd with 8 clips and a menu. The menu and everything works fine, BUT the sound of the video clips is broken somehow (it stops and starts).
No, it is neither my writer nor my dvd as I have already tested it.

I have also lowered write speed to 4x.

Any ideas anyone?
