For some reason when I cracked SoF2, it won't let me play anymore. It lets me go into the main menu, but it won't let me start a game.

Does anyone know why that happens?

plz elaborate.... what actually happens? does it quit to the desktop? is there an error msg? what crack did u use? etc.... need more info

It's actually the lack of anything that I don't understand. When I click Start Game it pops up the normal box that confirms starting the game, and I click Yes and it doesn't do anything. It makes the sound when you click buttos, but it doesn't do anything else.

No error messages, nothing. Just the clicking sound.. and that's it. The same when I try to play a random generated game.

Hey Carno, try another crack. Also, uninstall and reinstall the game and see if it works correctly _without_ a crack...

hmm yeh i agree with Joe : Uninstall it and reinstall ur game.... and c if it works without the crack... if it does, try using a different crack ;)

carno, i had this problem, it happens when u have too many save games (around 200), for somereason the menu sorta stops working when u have around 200 save games, try deleting some from ur save game directory.

Well I have tried every crack I could find, and they all do the same thing.

And then when I played it off of the cd, it did the same thing. I forgot to make a backup .exe, so I guess I'll have to reinstall and just use the cd.

dkjsafbjk - I usually delete my old savegames, so I do't think that was the problem. Maybe I did have that many tho..

i had the same problem and it happened when i installed the game from the original for the first time, you just could not load a game. i didnt crack the game at all, i imagine a clean install should work but i didnt bother coz its a crap game anyway

Why do you say that?

its just a bit boring just blasting your way through, i prefer games like medal of honour where you have to have a bit of skill

i must say that medal of honour requires much less skill than sof2

Ya.... i went through MOHAA without any problems :o but... the Omaha beach level was tricky, especially on hard :eek:

sof2 is a wicked game though.... I thought alot harder than Medal of Honor!
