i got the pioneer Ao5 yesterday and it is sweet i burnt backups of colin mcrae 3 and LOTR:Twin towers and both are ace (RecordnowDX works perfect)

do there really are copy protections on the ps2 dvds? i have not known about anything like that, but now some games are not working fine, i first thaught about a damage of my mod chip "final" plugged in at onyx-comp. but you are speaking of these games lotr:tt and cmr3...do they have a protection?

i am using pioneer dvr103 and pioneer dvd303 with nero 5.5.9.9 and instant cd/dvd 6.5 to make a direct copy. now i am not sure that it works. can you tell me a reason for the problems, chip? burner? program? thx

Use Primo DVD to copy your PS2 dvd based games and follow the tutorial at the top of the PS2 forum....
