CloneCD & Clony XXL
 

Hi...

I have just been introduced to Clony XXL, and CloneCD, but have been having some problems when trying to copy these disks that my brother sent up...

When I copied the disks, and trying to install the games, the setup program kept asking for a file that didn't exist...on either disk...

The file DATA3.CAD...

Anyone got any ideas?

Am I doing something wrong?

It's likely that the copy has been corrupted during reading or burning. This may be due to a scratched original, burning on the fly, or reading/writing too fast.

I know this problem, it looks like a Safedisk 2 copyprotected game, some times i had this with CloneCD 3 without a burner that handle EFM- Modulation, the installation ask for the second CD with a data3.cab, not .cad, the game have only one CD.
PS: Yes gosthacker, if been a problem in the reading- or burningprcess too.
