USING UN-SAFEDISK PROBLEM?

For those who have used Unsafe-disk to crack games etc. How do you crack an .exe file if there is no .icd file on the cd ?
Unsafe-disk requires this file to be able to crack the .exe.
example encarta world atlas 2001. any help appreciated.
