Help with pioneer a03
 

Bought this drive new a year ago and its worked great. A friend sent me a link few weeks ago for a firmware update for burning
with the new 4x media that is out. Updated and since then it wont read or write cd or dvd. Can I roll back to the old firmware somehow? Does anyone have a fix for this? By the way I bought the drive online listed as an ao3 but it says 103 in my hardware
list. I used a a03/103 firmware update. Thanks for any help.

Unfortuneatly you can't rollback your firmware. I'm not sure why it ruined your drive. Try uninstalling it. The reason it says 103 instead of A03 is because it because these are the exact same drive. The A03 is simply the 103 with software and all the screws and such.

I got the new firmware installed on my A03, Works great. What firmware version are you running?? 1.90??
