My PS2 isn't working HELP
 

My PS2 turns on but every game doesn't work it just doesn't play the CD. It just goes CD error. I just the same a RF plug for my PS2 and the normal plug for the power. The thing is I switch the cords in the back of my PS2 to also play my PS1 for burned and import games. It worked for both systems until I got my DDR metal pad which most likely take alot of power from the system. And the metal pad is the only controller that works in the PS1 and the memory card doesn't read. HELP ME! my conclusion is that its a power problem that the systems aren't getting enough energy from the outlet to run everything???

You are probably right. If you have a lot of appliances plugged into the same socket then the PS2 will not function properly. I had an old Sega Saturn and when I tried it in a 4 way plug socket it wouldn't get past the Sega Saturn introduction screen however when it was in a 2 way plug socket it worked perfectly.
