Why does Garou have to read continuosly from the cd? and is there any way to fix it? Guys i cant stand that constant BUZZ and i know its not good for the dreamcast drive.Thx in advance

Well i hear alot of ppl complaining about this so when i downloaded Fatal fury motw echelon release i thought hm it will prolly be unbearable streaming and the game would suck 50hz. A quick patch solved problem#1 Tbh i don't notice any lag in specials and it doesn't load that badly.. the only thing is that sometimes when u do a special u don't hear the char talking on time but the loading of my fatal fury is EXCACTLY the same as the last blade 2 release where u (almost) didn't hear any complaints about. I guess its the hooligans jp release causing it and i am lucky getting the us echelon one.

Well i think i have US echelon release too...Patched it ti 50hz as well and the voices are not that laggy,but the constant loading pisses me off and i cant play.I was thinkin bout downsampling the adx to 22khz (if they are 44 that is).Man LB2 and MOTW are awesome games,but the dreamcast versions were poorly developed.Your reply made me think there is no fix for it ...

Enuff : if you "reburnt" the release, you messed up the original file sort order, so even if you think you have XXX release, your CD isn't exactly like the original XXX release.
In fact, you can have exactly the same files, but they might be placed a different way on your CD so that loading times are different.

Megalexxx - I know and thats why my first thread ever was about sortfile.txt s.Everyone i know in my DC hub have same problem...and i probably didnt explain correctly.Garou and LB2 work perfectly here,both 60hz,good load times and not very laggy voices.What pisses me off is the fact that the Dreamcast is constantly reading the cd,and that irritates me.
