It Skips
 

Got my psx chipped yesterday

It does not work with original cds but it plays backups

Does anyone know whats wrong

also when finishing copying with cdrwin and using a verbatiam cdr, when playing ridge racer, the sound was skipping sometimes

but when coping the same game but with nero and with
a memorex cdr, gold, the sound was perfect but tracks 3&4 were silent

I both copyed them at 2X, and I couldn't set them at 1X
i used two different pc

I used 2 drives not one because if i didn't it was set at 4X

How come I could'nt set them at 1X, is it because of the demo version,

also my cd is a bit scratched, is this why it skips

so what I am trying to say is what cd-r's do you use
and what software and you're hints & tips

if your psx is not booting original games then the chip is not installed right!!
if the disk u r trying to copy is scratched then u will get funny errors!
verbatim dark blue bottomed disks are the best for psx games but can be pricey,i use light blue bottomed cream top disks which cost me £12 for 100 and i have never had any problems with them!!
