How to Burn Bin files with Nero.

How do you burn bin files using nero and cue files?. I have tried burning cd's with the required cue and bin files, but all I seem to make is coasters!. Is there somewhere you have to set options like Raw-DAO or subchannel data settings or something?.. How do you copy protected CD's using this?. Clonecd can copy protected cd's but Nero can't?.

My advice is to use CDRWin (####://www.goldenhawk.com). It is the definitive method for burning BIN files using the CUE file as its paramaters. Tutorial on ####://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk.

Nero won't do the job.

If you've got the BIN file, assume it'll work. If you're copying original disks, I recommend CloneCD for the SubChannel reasons you have noticed.

I use Nero all the time to burn .BIN files, all you have to do is read the .cue files fyrst, it's in txt format and looks something like this

FILE "FLT-CAT.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Then just set this setings in nero, and it works evry time....

Ok here is the question.. I understand what your saying.. But when it comes to this TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00 that last part how does that figure into Image header and Image trailer. It asks me to put in a positive integer. and thats where I get stumped. also what about Scrambled and swapped? thats where I get lost. :)

That's why I say use CDRWin - no farting around.

nero is easy w/bin files. a .bin is just an image, right? so you go to file menu> burn image. you select the .bin file, and it will come up with a 'foreign image file' dialog. you select mode2 2352 bytes (im close, it might not be exact) since .bin is just a disc dump, and it burns it perfectly.

when in doubt, try the obvious answer :)
