Sould I go with apple or magic 2 or wait for the new Messiah ?
Does it work with PSX1 back up and PSX2 DVD back up (No AR needed ?) ?
Thanks

yes, they are all direct boot mod chips
what one you go for depends on how patient you are ;)

personally - give it couple of weeks and go for Messiah 2 from dust or charlie

Yep.... Go with the Messiah 2..... Pre-Order NOW.....

I think I'll wait for the Messiah. I'm a bit curious : what are the differences between the 3 modchips (Apple, Magic and Messiah). As you have understood, I'm a newbie. The question is : if it works, isn't one modchip as good as another ?

The Main difference between the mod chips is what version PS2's each of them work in....
You have to remember.... ALL of the "direct boot" mod chips are nothing more than "clones" of the Messiah... They are all built off of the Messiah technology...
There are slight differences in the boot procedures for each mod chip....

Basically yes.... Its a matter of "brand"
Some people like to stay with a "better brand" (not necessarily a better product)

So the choice is yours....
