Ps2 Patches

Do i have to patch my ps2 backup games???
do i need to patch everyone of them???
do i need to patch just dvd based ones???
just cd based ones???
does it depend on my modchip???
does it depend on my verion of my ps2???

Depends on what type of mod chip you have.
Also depends on what program you use to backup your cd based games.
DVD based games do not require patching..

If your burner is 100% compatible with Clone CD, you DO NOT have to patch anything.... Just make a 1:1 copy...

rb1210 27-10-2002 17:20

how do i know if it is 100% compatible?

bighap 27-10-2002 17:47

You can check here It needs to be Raw-DAO 96 compatible.

rb1210 27-10-2002 18:21

what if my burner is not listed, do i HAVE to do a patch...etc

TylerDurden 27-10-2002 19:03

If its not listed then its not 100% compatible.

You only have to patch if your game doesnt boot.

Tyler!

I'd get a new (brandname) cdrbuner there cheap! Generic drive you have more problems with backing up stuff. (LG Drives suck too)
