Stupid Question?
 

Is it illegtal to sell chipped PS2 consoles?

I know it is illegal to sell copied games (apologies to mods for previous post :rolleyes: ) but was just curious to know if it was illegal to sell the consoles pre-chipped as once someone has bought it they surely have the right to modify it as they see fit and sell it to whomever they please.

I'm new to the world of PS2 gaming, or hadn't you noticed :D

I think Tyler was sensitive to your asking if 10 games would come with Dust's v5. I sent you a PM with some advice.

Dust is absolutely sound - but I'd knock a few quid off the price or get shipping included and forget the 10 games!!

When you come to fileforums.... Go towards the top and click on "User CP"... You should be able to view your PM's.....

Dunno where it went I cleared out and so it's gone. It was basically to say that you won't know the history of the other one. Dust's v5 history is at least known.

I don't think its Illegal to sell chipped consoles?
There is a shop local selling premoded units & chips.
In the past I called video repair place to see if they install mods & they said its Illegal. But sounded like he had a stick up his ass.

Backup copies of games, there are a few places on the net that sell them but you have to agree to the legal use & that you own the original game to purchase a backup copy cdr/dvdr. Not clear if that's 100% legit or not too?
