Help with Yugioh Patch
 

I am new to this, have read and follow all instructions to try and get this new Yugioh game I bought for my kid to work, but no luck.

Read the image from CD using CDRWin, patched it, then burn back to CD, put into PSX, but get blank screen or just main menu with options to play CD's?

Does anyone know what I have done wrong?

I just went thru all the instructions, and think that I know what the problem is. I think it is because I did not read in RAW mode. Will try again, and update.

If anyone has any other suggestions, please share.

psx games must be read in raw mode!!

Ur right djgarf, I finally got it working. Found out that my current CDRW does not support DAO RAW mode. So went and bought brand new drive.

I also found that using CDClone 4 does not work, it does not read the image properly. Ended up using CDRWin to read with RAW checked, then used Nero to burn cause CDRWin did not recognized my drive.

Hope this info is useful to others.

if CDRWin not recognising your new drive you need to update your ASPI layers.

Did update using latest download from Adaptec, but still no good, tried installing EZCD 5 platinum and latest patch, and still no go.

I have since found that the games still does not work, my kid started playing and couldn't even get past entering a name. I will try to get another CDRW that is supported by CDRWin and do further testing.
