apple v5R us does not boot dvd-r
 

guys i need help
ok i have succesfully solder apple v5 R for 30001R ps2(direct boot)
cd/cd-r and orginal dvd games boot just fine, except dvd-r (only dvd-r)
i use pioneer a04 - primodvd and nero with tdk dvd-r and pioneer dvd-r. no luck
dvd-r burn just fine.


what is the problem here, is it miswired or burning methods?

plz help me, point out where i miswired cauze i checked solder points are looking pretty good.

How are you trying to boot the dvd-r's?
EXACTLY what does the PS2 do, when attempting to boot dvd-r's?

i use direct boot cauze it direct boot modchip(appleR), and when i put dvd-r in and press reset, the intro screen showed up follow by red screen telling me to insert ps2 game.

by the way where i can find troubleshooting guide from Charlie, can u give me a link to that.
