This may be ignored by everyone and I dont blame you, but i wonder:

Do you need a modchip to burn games with the ps2?

I've got a macintosh and a pc(xp) with dvd-burner and an ordinary PS2-console. Hopeless?:confused:

No...You don't need a mod chip to burn games...
You do, however, need a mod chip to play the burned games.

Your MAC with the DVD burner is fine! (PROBABLY...What type of DVD burner is it?)

As far as your "Ordinary PS2 console".... Nothing is HOPELESS.... Get a GOOD mod chip....
Without a mod chip, GET ANOTHER PS2...(Cause you will need it when you BREAK your first PS2 trying to play without a mod chip):D

Thanks man, i knew i didn't need the chip to burn it, but i guess i will have to buy the darn thing anyways. Good thing i didn't try without the chip!:D
