Is there any decent Emulator for Ps2 or maybe Xbox


What software do i need so I can rip an iso image from a psx game

Is it Clone CD

NOPE.......
No emulator for PS2....Unsure about X-Box (BUT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT)

If you mean any emus you can play on your PS2 then yes there is:

there is also PS2 MAME, BEEBEM PS2, PS2 DC64, JUM52 and COLEM PS2 to name a few (sorry no direct links - haven't checked them out yet)

For X-Box I beleive that there are also a few emus (N64 being one), not being an X-Box follower I cannot give you any more info, I suggest that you post a thread in the X-Box Games section of this board.


If you are on about PS2 or X-Box emus for PC then :p not for a while yet.

A PS2 emulator is still about a year off. Might as well get a PS2 for now.

I doubt that. The PS2 emulation scene is improving very rapidly. They already have some of the demos running. They are quite certain the first commercial games wil be playable in 6 to 12 months. I certainly hope Sony doesn't release the PS3 within this time. Who knows, maybe they will push it out early to get the lead with a inferior product as they have this time around. Finally, most people's PC probably won't be able to adequately run the emu before the PS3 is released, so you are correct in this regard I believe.

Ill believe that when I see it.
