Need help for burning ps2 games!!!

I have made a bin and cue file with cdrwin with my original ps2 game, to have a backup file on my HD.

Now I need to know how to burn it back to cd.

1.Which programm should I use Cdrwin,Fireburner,Nero,Disc Juggler.....etc.

2.Settings like DAO TAO burn proof activated or disabled and so on...

3.I use verbatim cdrw's or tdk

4.Write speed 2x or 4x

Please tell me exactly how to make a working ps2 backup

links are welcome.

You can read a very easy to follow CDRwin PS2 burning tutorial here

Would HIGHLY rec. using Clone CD 4.... CDRWin and the others can't produce a 1:1 copy like Clone CD can....
You will have to make a new image of your original since it doesn't use the bin/cue format....
You can also use ClonyXXl along with Clone CD....It will set Clone CD for you.....

But...

To make a 1:1 copy I use clonecd4 ok!!

But to burn the image should I use Cdrwin? or what else?

If you want to burn an image use CDRwin. Because this is not a 1:1 copy, games with protection will need patching such as EA games. By using CLoneCD no patching is necessary because it is a 1:1 copy.

Forgot to mention, 1:1 copies can only be made if your burner is dao 96 compatible. If your not sure if your burner is or not you can check here

i have a hp 9100c cdwriter :(
it works on dao 16
does this mean i cant succesfully burn a backup?

if so, what cdwriter do you suggest?

BG 18-10-2002 16:52

You "COULD" still burn with your HP....You will just have to go through patching and other bull......As low as cd writers are now, It would be alot easier to just get another one....
Mine is a LG GCE-8320B....I paid $55.00 (US) for it...(Brand new in the retail box)
There are all types of different brands that will work well for you...

Wasting cdrw's

That's strange I have tried yesterday to burn my image with Cdrwin selecting RAW mode and the programm tells me:

you have selected raw mode... This mode may or may not be supported by the recorder or its current firmaware version.

do you want to contine?

I set yes, and he started burning and with success but the game didn't start

I have a PLexwriter W2410A Firmware version 1.03

I have 4 isos on hd at the moment and with nero in DAO modus
I burned already 2 of them and they are starting on my PS2 with neo key and action repaly...

So what the f...k is going on I don't understand why with nero DAO modous it's supported and with cdrwin not. Today I will try to burn the other two images with Nero and we will see If they will run.

I really do'nt know what I can do next hope this time it will work,

I'm wasting to many Verbatim's and that suck's really

thank's by the way for you'r kind attention on this post I hope somebody else could be helped with this thread.

See ya....

Finaly made it!!

Guy's I made it finally :D

I burned the bin file with nero in DAO modus at 1x (I think 4x is ok 2, but didn't tried yet!!!
Some isos's unfortunately still don't work.
I think the reason is because of the kind of mode chip I have.
I have the neo key i'm gonna change the mode chip...

But this is another story....

Now I'm able to play at Pro evolution Soccer 2 that's great!!!!!
Without using my original game
:p
