need help re: ea rugby and autokey3 chip
 

hey guys
i hav ebeen having problems with ea rugby.....
it boots fine, and all aspects of the game work fine except friendlys - when you select the teams it just freezes!
i am pretty certain i am using the auto key 3 chip, as that is the boot method i use.
does the patch fix this problem?
any help would be gratefully appreciated

couple of questions:

1. EA Rugby - DVD or CD ?
2. What program did you use to copy it?
3. What media are you using (more for DVD if that is what the game is)
4. What speed did you burn at?

the media used is cd-r
i am not certain about the other things you mentioned as i did not copy it myself, a friend of mine with a cd-writer did.
sorry i couldnt be anymore help, i hope you can give me some advice on the small amount of information i have provided

Try taking the disc back to your friend and have him re-burn the game on some better (brand) media and also burn at a slow speed.. 1X-4X....See if that will solve your freezing problem:D
