Matrix2 or Messiah - which best chip?

Messiah, since you ask.

What about th Ultra2 and Phoenix2 are they any good?

Keep it simple m8. Messiah is easy to get hold of 2

Problem with the Precisionmods brand is that you don't know what you're getting.

Phoeix2 doesn't exist yet.

Ultra2 is shown i=on their website with different chip types. Which is it? If you don't know which chip you're getting, how can we help you on the forum as problems tend to be chip specific.

if your PS2 is not Messiah compatible (which is Precisionmods PHOENIX brand) then take a Magic 2 or an Apple mod.

excuse me, i'm a newbie... but magic2 is a better choice than messiah or matrix2:confused: :confused: :confused:

1st thing you have to understand is ALL of the current mod chips that are "no swap" were built around the Messiah technology... The Messiah WAS & STILL is the "BEST" chip..... It has been out longer than any of the other mentioned chips and has been field tested and proven......
Now the Magic 2 has its OWN place because it supports more versions of the PS2.... In my opinion, IF the Messiah supported as many versions as the Magic 2 (which may happen in the VERY NEAR future) there would be no question as to which is better..
As far as the Matrix 2.... Only time will tell how good it is...(Although its just a Magic 2 clone with a couple extra features) It hasn't been available long enough to find out if it has any types of problems....
All of the chips are "good" chips because you don't have to swap. But they are all built on the technology that the Messiah came with first....

Looks like good reason to use Magic clones!

But if you do please do not get any from evolutionmods.

Hes just sold me a bad batch and doesnt want to knwo about a refund or exchange.

And just for good measure while trying them they destroyed 3 brand new V7 consoles.

Please buy elsewhere and dont end up like me
