Yeah....We have talked about this drive in earlier posts....
Soon we will be able to have the BEST of BOTH worlds...

Lol - I think thats an understatement m8. 4x dvd-r & 24x cdr for approx £235, let alone all the other compatibility!!

(the perfect drive for a duplicator)

It looks good but i am going to wait until its proven itself for PS2 backups.

Yeah....That's the ONLY thing that concerns me about this drive...
The way Sony is, they could have made this thing where it won't produce a working backup of the games...
Just have to wait and see.....:cool:

yeah but luckily i can have 1 from the likes of pc world - test it n have it back in the shop unused for a refund next morning

Not that I make a habit of returning gear to the shops mind - all them PS2's were actually bought as pressies for my nephew, how was I to know he was getting them from his grandad too ;)
