starlancer shuts down begining 1st level

Starlancer shuts down when i am trying to play the first level.My O.S. is Windows XP Pro.I think i've tried every solution,but maybe you've had the same problem,and can help me to solve this problem.

I think I remember this one. Have you tried disabling eax in the game configuration ?
