what do people think of divine divinity?

i have read the internet revies (both corporate and gamers) and its a bit of a mixed bag.

i was plannig to download the demo but at 400mb i would like some more honest opinions.

i play NWN to death and love it. is it pretty much like this or not?

most people says its like diablo but i have never played this game so thats not of much help LOL
