Games I haven't gotten to work

Has anyone managed to backup the following games:-

Shadow heart (PAL)

Drakan Ancient Gates (PAL) - I believe this is copy protected and no one has cracked it

Britney Spears Dance Beat (PAL)

What type of problems are you having with these......I do know some people that have successfully backed up Britney Spears and Shadow Heart.....
What software are you using? What mod chip do you have? What type of media are you using?

I have a PS2 V5 PAL with Messiah. Pioneer 104, various media from Datasafe to TDK/Verbatim. Nero / Prassi DVD/ Recordnow Max

I've tried backing up Drakan several times on various media - result: Loads to purple Screen. Others have reported this so I suspect some unusual copy protection.

Shadow Hearts: On average media this game actually boots to the Memory Card Browser. On High quality media it boots to a black screen and hangs

Britney: Only tried this once - on average media - boots to black screen and hangs

Have you tried using the tutorial Charlie_PS2 wrote for Primo DVD...?
If not, you can get it here! Primo Tutorial

Also, does your PS2 still play other DVD backups?

Hi

I'll check out Charlies tutorial

Only the NTSC version of DRAKAN can be copied.

The PAL version does indeed have a type of protection that hasnt been broke, it cannot be copied in any way.

The NTSC version cannot be ripped. It goes to a purple screen as well. But it can be copied to dvd-r.

Dont waste your time with PAL Drakan.

The others I have backed up NTSC versions only without problems.
