The Thing (UK)

I've tried backing up this game, but when it's loaded and I try to either

a) Load a saved game
b) Start a new game

it just sits there doing nowt! Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers.

Not enough info to go on. Example what sort of Modchip have you installed, also what burning software are you using, and what type of dvd-r media are you are using as well.

Coatesie 06-10-2002 11:51

Messiah, Nero, Bulkpaq DVD-R

Cheers.

Try backing up the game using Primo DVD.....
You can get Primo Here!
Also, follow the tutorial written by Charlie_PS2 for Primo DVD.
You can get the tutorial Here!
If Primo DVD doesn't recognize your dvd burner, you will need to download the PXengine update....
You can get it Here!
That should get you sorted out.

I've copied The Thing - PAL, to Verbatim dvd-r and don't get the problem u r having.

HANS_COBBO 06-10-2002 17:01

Definitely a combination of either the Media that your using and the burning software. Take BG's advice and use the PrimoDVD to burn your games using decent DVD-R media, and you shouldn't have any problems at all.

psx_paul 07-10-2002 07:06

yeah I have tried bulpaq dvd-r for ps2 and they are no good.
try better quality media like traxdata or TDK/verbatim.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Unfortunately, i've just got bulkpaq at the mo, but used Primo, and, hey, works fine!

Cheers all.
