NHL 2003 Fixed exe...
 

I am looking for a Fixed exe for NHL 2003. The one i managed to find so far doesn't work: the game loads ok but crashes when you try to enter the AI menu or play...

Also bool'sEye SafediskCleaner 1.12 creates a loader that doesn't work....

The game is protected with Safedisk 2.60.52.

You sure that fixed exe file is the problem??? I'm hearing alot of people who actually bought the game are having crashing when using the AI screens.. btw, I cleaned my exe with bOOls eYe safedisc2 cleaner 112 and it seems to work fine for me with a burned copy..

No, i am not sure that the problem is the fixed exe... but:

I made a loader with SafediskCleaner 1.12 and the game loads but then crashes on most screens!

Either the game has too many bugs/incompatibilities or it has added protection (as is the normal these days)...

I have seen games like Patrician 2 where you bypass the CD protection and then the game displays garbage on screen after exactly 2 mins of play!

I'm saying it's a bug problem within NHL2003 that has nothing to do with the crack... I've installed and played it with the original CD and I always get 4 'script' errors after the 1st EA Sports screen and when finishing a game going back to the main menu.. Those are the only problems for me... The game works fine otherwise..

I'm saying the cd crack is knackered as razor posted saying it was and that they are gonna do another one.

Using the Razor fixed .exe fine here.
AFA the crashes, the new NHL 2003 frontend uses IE6(HTML) pages. The crashes have been traced to a setting in Internet Options. Go to "View\Encoding" and make sure "Auto-Select" is NOT checked. In mine it's on "Western European (Windows)" and the game runs fine.
This ss a known "bug" in the game and the solution has been posted on many of the NHL "fan-site".

K i did what you posted in terms of the IE6 encoding...that never worked for me... i did however try another fix where you have to go into regedit and enter another key to accomidate for nhl2003.exe. That allowed me to get as far as the menu screen i picked my teams and was all set...hit play and it locked up...

I was wondering where the razor crack is at?...i wanna try it so i don't need my game disc..i want to see if thats the problem...

Same problem here! The NoCD i am using (it's not Razor's) and the loader i made with SafediskCleaner load the game ok but when i setup the teams and click to Play... i get a crash to desktop!

Another protection layer maybe or simply bugs????

NOTE:

The game tries to connect to EA if you are on-line when you load it!

thought it was good & then crashed at the uniform page. isn't it the same as the other patch? it's the same size i see...
