can someone please help i am absolutely confused and stuck on the topic of modding my ps2.fisrt of all i have read about different vesrions. i got my ps2 when they first came out the code that see on websites says: SCPH-30003 and it is a pal one.i want to be able to play all kinds of games because alot of the modchips i have seen dont seem to play backup dvd-rs and i assume that most new games now have to be backed up using a dvd and i have a dvd rewriter so that isnt a problem.i think my consloe is a version3 and i havent seen any chips for that. can anyone tell me if there is a chip out there for my version and if mine is a verison 3 or have i got it wrong. please help cos i am paranoid about buying a chip which only lets me play cd-r backups.

if you dont know what chip 2 fit m8 then how the f**k u going to chip it? i think you shoud leave it to the real chip fitters m8
