Hi,

I've a problem with the Syberia CD.
I want to make a copy of CD1 but this CD is protected.
When I click on the data2.dat (or something like that) file I see that it's 950 Mb large.
So when I want to make a backup my Burning software tells me a Buffer Overload has occured.
I've tried Easy CD Creator, Nero and CloneCD.
Making a backup copy of CD2 wasn't a problem.

Can anyone help?

Normaly CloneCD can copy that.
I think these protection is called IllegalTOC or so.

CloneCD copy that, so your backup have also a 950 MByte file.
Try that GAME-Profile in CloneCD4.

It has worked with my german version of Syberia !!!

Did you make the backup of Syberia on a 700Mb CD or a 800Mb CD?

I've burned that on a normal 700 MByte CD-R !!!

It is not possible, cause the file that is to large is data2.cab.
The file is an archive that will extracted by install.
But your way works with the large file of Delta Force, Comanche, etc.

After a lot of work I finally did make a back-up of Syberia with CloneCD.
