Is it illegal to sell my modded psx?
 

I got the old PSX model 1001 with the GameWizard modchip with tons of CD-R copies. Wanting to sell it to apply the money toward the PS2. Didnt know if it was illegal to sell together as one combo on Ebay? thanks

do not put on ebay that u r selling cdr's with it or they will remove your auction!!

It won't matter..They'll figure it when you sell you're selling PS1 with Modchip in it..Believe me I know. I'm a seller there..
Besides if you got a SCPH 1001 model no one is gonna buy it unless you sell it for $15.00 or so..If you got a PSone then you might get $40.00 to $50.00. In any case don't matter selling it on Ebay B/C so many people are wording it different ways to sell the modded PS1 and PS2 but only few get away with it while most get the auction taken off..Your best bet is cd-rom guide.com. That's the mkt for mostly goods(Trade Forum)..

All i have to say is it comes with a GameWizard which its actually called that.

Strange enough Ebay knows how some of the External Mod works..They have been informed..That's all I'm gonna say..

Not sure how much you're trying to get out of it but don't expect too much for it..Nowa days PS2 got Direct Boot Chip which plays everything from PS1 to Ps2 games so no need to get PS1..

Well I was going to be funny and tell you it was illegal and have you mail it to me to avoid prosecution but if it's 1001 I wouldn't want it no matter what type of chip it has!!;)

Another reason why it won't sell too well..

well its still on ebay and theres still no bids(as expected). Wonder what a pond shop would give? may just give it to dad, he still play the original nintendo. He thinks he is the best at Tecmo Bowl and all star baseball. :D

how not keep all your cdr`s becos thy shood work on your ps2 just fine and bin the 1001 or give it to a bag lady lol

It's not worth anything in financial terms m8 - but give it to a local childrens home (with the games) & you will get christmas cards for life!
