Which Version Should I Mod?
 

Hi, I have a v1 and a v2.Which would be better to mod or does it matter?Or should I go buy a new v7?I plan on using the red magic 2 from modchip.ca.

If you have the option of buying a new V7, then go for it..... You could mod either the V1 or the V2.... Just be warned that you may need to purchase a new laser..... Although its still cheaper than buying a new V7.... The choice is really up to you....:cool:

THANKS BG,one moore question if yall don't mind.I can't decide on getting a premodded apple chip system for $440 after shipping,or should I buy a ps2 and a magic 2 chip and have it installed for $420 total which is better the magic2 or the apple?

sorry to but in, but I think the choice is obvious there. its marginal in price, so i'd go for the all in one -premodded.

you don't have to worry about sending it off after you got it to get modded, waiting for a modchip - someone doing it wrong, etc. etc.

get the premodded - that way you know its been tested (hopefully they do) and works!!!!

You can get a better deal at lik-sang.com There servers are currently down but when they are up buy from them. They sell a pre modded v7 with an apple chip and it also comes with a dvd remote and a vertical stand for only $360 after shipping. Best deal around.
