xodus or not
 

i'm thinking of getting an xodus mod chip but I do not have the bios software for it. Will evox bios work? if so can someone enlighten me on where to find it. I have evox 1.8.458 already (could not find newer version) Also, I have no dvd burner(was waiting for price to drop and for Pioneer to fix that overheating problem). Is it possible to backup games to HDD and play them from there?I have saved many tutorials but I dont know how to flash bios. Any help would greatly be appreciated from this newbie.

I think the evoX bios should be fine and able to be flashed to the xodus modchip.
Yes, it is possible to play games off the hard-drive. But the xbox hdd is only 8gig, so if you wanted to play games off the xbox you should install a bigger hard-drive.

You should get something along with the modchip that hooks up your it to a PC, and they probably give you a program to flash the bios. I'm not to sure on that though.

If your looking for a newer version of the evoX bios, download mIRC, and they are floating around in channels on efnet, and dalnet.

thanx i found a place to get mod chip and a 120g hdd installed w/ switch for $450 now i just got to get dvd burner and im set
is it still impossible to get pressed dvds or any larger than 4.7g
