creat new copy protection

hello,

i would like 2 creat a new copyprotection of my one and i would be very happy about some ideas or sources cause i ve never done this before.

best source samples language would be c/c++, but doesn't matter.

i played around with serial protections but i think a copyprotection would be kewler :D .

->don't post the link to the "how to protecd cds article", i wanne do it myself.

thx -DrD-

You have to have good skills in assembler or c++ to make an "uncrackable" protection. In fact, I doubt that there will be an uncrackable protection, but things may become harder.

Mmmh, first off all it should be totally confusing, not only for reversing newbies, but for also for the "hex-masters". Jumps and calls to useless places all throught the whole code just to do nothing, trying to hide the "good-boy area" as good as possible. Some non-reversible (standing brute-forcing) piece of code is the next thing to include (hard one?).

This is just for the beginning. Btw, have you already tried some reversemes or crackmes dealing with copy-protections? Maybe you'll find something to include in your one.

thx, plz fell free post some source...
i already did some crackmes. (one isnt broken til yet).

Sources,mmmh.

First of all, there are the usual ones which you will probably know.

Anyway, first off all here some good sites to start with (If you already know them, I will post others)

http://crackmes.host.sk/

http://www.reversemes.cjb.net/

Could you send me the "not broken" one, plz. Always interested in them.

Btw, this might not be the right forum to discuss this topic any further.

i'll soon have made a cd protector that cannot be copied by clonecd or similar progs, or copying files to hd then to cd, it will probably be cracked though. but i'm only makng it to protect things against my stupid friends

sounds very interesting.... could u plz send me some source to [email protected]?
(or some ideas at least?)
thx...

Uuuups, it seems I misunderstood your post.

You wanted me to post some source-CODE, right?

Sorry, but this is not the right forum to post any code I think.

If I'll find or create something of interest for you, I will send you a mail.

Btw, could you plz send me your unsolved crackme at:
[email protected]

Btw, there are crackmes or reversemes out there, which are harder to crack/reverse than actual copy-protections.

well guys look....i don't really think you are gone do something remarkable cause just think about this,,,,there are so many copy protections that are named to be so dificultand uncopyable but there are many cd-wr that can copy them by using the right progs...and these are the copy protections that are developed by top programmesrs and the cds are pressed in some special kinds of cd writers and can still be copied...so never think that you will do something really really good cause it's really rather impossible to happen...unless you find any revolutionary source code that has the way to "hide" everything.....

sory if i made you fell sad but i think you knew this from before...
