Diablo 2: Lord of destruction
 

i've installed diablo 2 (original, Full Install)
then upgraded it to the LOD expansion pack, but every time i start it i can only play the diablo 2 levels with any character.

How can i play the new act from the expantion pack or do i have to complete the original 4 chapters again first.

If you alredy went through the first four acts and finished then you should be able to go on with that character to the expansion.

i already finished it with the normal characters and i can't be arsed fininshing it again i just wanna play the new levels.

what i ment was i finished it last year so i don't have my svaed game anymore, and i can't be arsed playing all the way thru again.

Why don't you try the new druid or assassin classes and play through the whole game with those ? You'll have enough new things to try to make up for having to replay the d2 levels. And the extra act 5 isn't THAT big, so even if you had your old characters you would have finished very quickly. Also, the expansion adds quite a bit of new items and features like the runes. Just play it again, I found it refreshing enough to start all over and play it out with both the assassin and druid.
