Cant Dance
 

Is there ANY way I can get Dance Dance Revolution 2 (normal, not the club mixes) to boot on a US psx using this device?

Other usa/jap games boot, other stealth games boot, but this one dosent, says my psx is modded and won't boot. I tried to look for a patch but only found one for the club mixes.

Any help?

DDR games are Stealth level 3 or 4 protected..Your best bet is patch the game..Or get a genuine Internal Stealth Elite chip(Level 5 and Final).

Im not against patching it, the problem is I cant FIND a patch. All the ones I found were either broken links or for the club version.

Also, there was a GS code that USED to work on my cousin's non-stealth chip (it didnt boot, but by using a GameShark code it did). I cant seem to get this code to work on my ModCart though, anybody know if this code DOES work? Because there are varations of it, maybe I used the wrong varation.

And of course, if you can find the patch, that would be nice too.

Looked and looked, still cant find a patch for DDR2 psx, I can only find ones for the stupid club mixes. And I tried modding my psx before, fried it >.< The stupid solder points are WAY too small.

Yup, while back I tried to beat the system using GS but after a while it didn't work anymore..
As I indicated earlier your best bet is get someone to mod the machine with Stealth Elite chip..THERE IS NO OTHER WAY AROUND IT!!

where can i get a stealth 5 chip? or do you know where i can dl it and make the chip myself?

Got some good news for you pal, I currently have ALL the ddr games and my backups work fine just by using the psx-change2 disc.
They're knocking around most retailers.

Will I still need to remove my Mod-Cart if I use the swap disk though?

I've got a psone, unmodded and I just use the item below. It works with ALL ddr games i've got (about 6 dif ones).

Just pop the cd in, wait until it asks you to swap for the import, then hit x.

Simple as that. U won't need any codes or modcartidge etc. Just the disk.
