fm 2002 v.1.12 SD 2.51.020
 

Hello there,
so my prob is that i tried to make a no- cd .exe for fm 2002.
i have installed the game and ihave run the 1.12 update.
Then i wanted to create a no-cd .exe with unsafedisk 2.51 everything was ok it made the .bin i rebuild it and there was the test exe but after itried it it still keeps on asking for the right cd.
I have also tried sd cleaner but it is the same.
So what can i do.

safedisc unwrappers only remove the safedisc protection. so there can be some other "normal" cd-checks, which requires a bit more crackwork.
however, you should be able to run the game with the unwrapped exe and with a backup cd written with Nero (or even with Easy CD Cremator :p)

So,that was what i thought.But how can found out what these protects are?I want to try that out.I can play the game with the original cd,that is not the problem.I just want to have a Backup.
So where can i find more hints for that?

are u sure the update didnt also update the version of safedisc protecting the exe?

Sure it does.That is why it is 2.51.020 before it was 2.3 something.
Am i right that i only need to crack the update exe.Or do i have to do like this.
v.1.0 exe fixing and then running update then cracking update .But i do not think so.

first install game, then run patch, then create a fixed exe.

but you tell us that your backup cd does not work with the fixed exe, or am i wrong ? make sure your backup cd has the same label etc.

I made a backup with clone cd.
I made a fix before.It was working on W 98.
Now i have xp and a new computer and it is not working

It was on gamefix but you can not download it anymore they say they do not have enough space for that

It is asking for the right cd.
But in a different way as normal it is just a small window.

this means that your copy is not good and you will have to get a crack in order to play your game
