Backup does not work

I have copied Ridge Racer V with nero but I cannot play the backup version of this game. The content of the backup is exactly the same as on the original. Can anybody explain how this can happen? I use DVD-X to boot.
Thanx in advance

Do you really expect a answer from the info you have provided. What burner do you have, what modchip, console version, media used. Give us a little more info.

Like Warlock said......
You need to be specific... There are so many different combinations of media, mod chips, drives, boot method, ETC......
We could guess FOREVER and still not get it right.... Give us details and YOU WILL MOST LIKELY FIND A ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION....

Console type : SCPH-30004R
Modchip neo 2.2, I boot with DVD region X
CD-burner: Benq / ATAPI CD-R 32x10

I burned the cd on 4 times speed, I am able to play other backups made by other people, but not my own!
What really wonders me is that the gamefiles on the backup CD are EXACTLY the same as on the original game, yet I cannot play it. I burned the backup exactly as told in the tutorial shown on: http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Nero_Tutorial.htm.

What did I do wrong????

Just use clone cd for backing up original CD-R games.
My oppinion is clone cd version 3..... not 4.

Choose read to image and tick the 2 first boxes ( Read subchannel data from data tracks, and Read subchannel data from audio tracks)

When your image is ready then choose Write from image file and tick the box ( Don't repair subchannel)

If you can tick the above boxes you should be fine if you can't tick the above boxes then your cdr is probably not 100% fully clone cd compatible.

fillipos is right.

It would seem that you don't have a 1:1 copy with your burner and Nero. Your buerner is capable of reading/burning the 2353 bytes of RAW data but not the 96 bytes of sub-channel data containing any copy protection that the game might have.

The ideal PS2 game reader/burner has the DO-RAW+96 capability as identified in www.elbe.de Supported Writers table. Acer burners are generally incompatible.
