Trouble with the new EvoX
 

Er, I can't seem to ftp to my xbox with the new Evolution X.
My PC
PC IP: 192.168.0.2
Gateway:192.168.0.1

XBOX
Xbox IP: 192.168.0.157
Gateway is set to 192.168.0.2 [i](also tried 192.168.0.1)[i]
name and identity: EvoX
password: Xbox


I load upo flashFXP and go to "quick connect". Then I type in 192.168.0.157 for the address. For user, i put "EvoX" and for password I put "Xbox". no connection

nevermind. It seems that the password and username is xbox, even if i change it.

The username is always xbox. you can only change the password.

There anyway to remove the user name?

I've had a look around about changing the Username and the answer is it can't be done :( I took a look at the new FAQ's on the EvoX site and it's just password changing in this release. Maybe in the next release we might see username changing but who knows.

nah, i got it fixed. I thought that the "RDtools" name was the ftp name for the xbox. But It wasnt. I just had to change the ftp username to Xbox.
