Gameplay Black And White

I HAVE THE GAME VIRTUAL COP REBIRTH, I BURNT THE CD BUT IT PLAYS IN BLACK AND WHITE ANY IDEAS?

normally its because its a pal game and u r ntsc or vice versa
if so there r patches available to correct this

thanks, ive tried it on another tv and it works ok,must have been the portable
