ddr 5th mix problems
 

hey. i applied the protection fix patch to my ddr 5th mix and got it working fine on my psx, except for one problem. whenever i try to access the option screen or any other feature that shows the Now Loading message in the corner, the game freezes and doesnt load the proper screen. has anyone else had this problem? the cd-r media brand i used is memorex, if that has any meaning. any help would be appreciated because i can't save my progress or unlocked songs.

i used memorex cd-rs 80 mins long to record the game. it was with cdrwin obviously since i had to patch it to make it work. any thoughts? maybe i need verbatim cd-rs? i dunno
