why is it in black & white ???
 

i've just installed the messiah chip, and all seemed to be well.

however, when i powered up, it was in black and white !!!

i think my machine is a v4 (scph-35003 gt3 bundle uk pal)

is it a configuration problem ????

any help muchly appreciated.......

Black & White usually means the wrong signal is being sent to your TV..... Is your tv a PAL tv or NTSC tv?
Does this happen just as you turn the console on, or when you are trying to play a game...?
Also, how do you have the PS2 hooked to your tv? (scart cable or rca's)

thanks mate, but i got it sorted.

turns out my brothers kids had been playing with my tv's settings when i wasnt around, and had managed to set my scarts to a y/c input signal

kids.... say no more

Kids are why we are backing up these games anyways, right?
